Make a Difference with ACCESS at SIUE!
Every day we work with students who have a variety of disabilities, we assist them by providing academic support, individualized accommodations and empowerment toward self-advocacy. A donation to Accessible Campus Community and Equitable Student Support (ACCESS) at SIUE will not only support those efforts, but also assist in the following:
- Procurement of adaptive software and assisted technology ($3,000 per semester).
- Covering the cost of diagnostic testing for students with disabilities who do not yet have documentation ($150 per student diagnosis).
- Procurement of evacuation chairs for campus buildings to make campus safer for those with any type of impaired mobility to be navigated up or down a staircase in an emergency ($1,500 per evacuation chair).
Become a Continual Champion of Accessibility
One of the best ways you can support ACCESS at SIUE is by becoming a Continual Champion. Please consider making a monthly or quartely doation.
